Having good grammar skills isn't enough. For readers to understand your documents, paragraphs must be unified and coherent. This seminar explains how to develop sequence in a paragraph, how to revise for clarity, conciseness, and fluency, and how to adjust your tone for maximum reader appeal. (4 hours)
Planning a Readable Document
Because of their busy schedules, readers need to find what they need in a document quickly and easily. This means knowing how to define your audience and its needs and ensuring your document is written to that audience. In addition to those skills, participants will learn how to brainstorm, plan and schedule projects, and understanding the collaborative writing process. (4 hours)

Producing a readable document means having an appealing page layout. This seminar shows writers the elements thereof and guidelines for formatting pages, including use of white space, making lists, use of typefaces, highlighting for emphasis and appeal, using headings, and using warnings and cautions, placing visuals, using tables and figures, and managing visual revision control.
